The Door County Creamery is a mix of retail store, restaurant and a cheese-making facility a few steps from the goat farm. Here, you can find common home-made goat cheeses such as chevre and cheddar, as well as some not so common like marinated feta, wild ramp chevre and cave-aged falltum cheese.

Visitors may buy cheeses and wine from the creamery or choose to stay and dine in the cozy restaurant. They offer tasting plates of meat and cheese combo, and fresh artisan sandwiches. Must try is the cheese curd sandwich, as it comes with a truffle-roasted tomato spread and some fresh curds for the sandwich, and the roasted almond and fig gelato for dessert.

Another place every foodie must visit is the Wild Tomato Restaurant in Fish Creek. Everything here is made from scratch or scoured from farms around Door County. They offer traditional and specialty pizza flavors, which are called the “Donation Creation.” A dollar from each sale of their specialty pizza is donated to a local non-profit organization.

The restaurant also serves great-tasting salads, appetizers and sandwiches. Little kids love a visit to Wild Tomato to watch pizza chefs toss those crusts and create pizzas in front of them.
